Investment opportunities

I just read this article so merrily provided me by Reuters: http://www.reuters.com/article/oddlyEnoughNews/idUSN0335766120080603?feedType=RSS&feedName=oddlyEnoughNews

According to its author, this man arranged to have his father killed in order to take over his job; he was apparently frustrated with the lack of jobs in his impoverished eastern Bihar state...

Let's ignore the fact that you want to commit a morally suspect. Let's also forget that said act will be (and was) perpetrated against the man who gave you life. What I'm finding interesting is this little nugget: The son had paid a relative about $2,500 to carry out the crime...

Really? The guy had no job, but had $2,500 to throw away on a hit? I would think, if one had no steady employment, one might, you know, save such funds; at the very least, put them toward something with a bit more payoff than whacking someone.

Especially if that someone is your father.

Many Indians are Hindu, and a primary tenant of Hinduism is a belief in reincarnation. May Vishnu help the jerk who whacked his dad for a job.
